#1; BRING DOWN THE CONSUMPTION OF LIGHTS

AC consumes the optimum energy at 26°c. After that, for each degree, you may consume 3% to 5% of energy. For better usage, instead of setting into high cool, switch into medium cool. The remedy for less consumption of energy by AC is, switch it off before 30-60 minutes leaving the room as the room remains cools after leaving it off. Switch on the fans after Ac turned off, fans can circulate the cool air that already exists in the room and also fan consumes only less energy.
#3; MAKE LESS USE OF WATER HEATER
Geyser and water heater can consume high electrical energy. They consume 4000W at a time. When geyser is turned on, the electricity consumption will be very immense. All we have to do is less the usage of the water heater during the summer season and conserve energy. Always turn down the temperature and switch off the heater after using it.
#4; REDUCE THE ENERGY CONSUMPTION BY LAPTOP
The people who work from home are higher this time, Since, they may use a desktop or laptop for their work needs. Laptops consume less about 15w to 45w, whereas desktop consumes about 65w to 250w. All we have to do is, set the device into sleep mode while taking breaks. Always make sure laptop charging is turned off after the full charge because; even after that, it can cost around 60w.
#5; REDUCE THE USAGE IN PEAK HOURS
In India, morning and evening a few hours are very peak one for electricity. During those hours, the electrical energy consumption will be very much higher. This is because of the highest demand for electricity in 24 hours. Avoid using the washing machine, ironing, and turning on AC between 6 AM-9 AM and 4 PM-9 PM.
